Our family in particular has a combination of people who are gluten intolerant, casein intolerant, diabetic and on a low fat diet, so what is one to do?
The answer may seem impossible, however it is really quite simple if you follow two simple rules! For one, everyone eats the same thing and second, everything that is on the table must be friendly for everyone to eat. So here is how we go about it:
The key is to take old fashioned favorite recipes, and substitute any ingredients that anyone is avoiding with "friendly for everyone" ingredients.
So lets start by talking about specific ingredients that can be easily substituted- inconspicuously I might add- for common holiday dishes. Use the following substitutes for commonly used ingredients and you will not be able to taste the difference, but your body will surely notice!
