The first person to awake on Sunday morning was Bonny. While she was much more comfortable that she had learned all about upper neck adjustments, she still wanted to be certain of knowing what she was doing. She fixed her normal breakfast of strawberry oatmeal and ate it. She drank some red fruit punch that morning as well.

After her breakfast, Bonny pulled out her binder with all of her notes from Saturday. She read over them at least three times before doing anything else. Then she got up and started to pretend to do upper neck adjustments on all her furniture. She would find a place on the back of her furniture that felt like the atlas. Then she would pretend to do an upper neck adjustment on the furniture. This continued for the rest of the day.

The next person to awake that day was Hector. Rather than having to arise and start working as a trustee on Sunday, he had the option of going to a church service held in the jail. By now he already knew the way to the room where the church services were held. Being in jail made Hector nervous because he had never been near so many criminals. He knew that the wardens kept a close eye on all of them and everything they did, but it still made him uneasy.

Hector sat down on a bench and the preacher started talking about forgiveness and also addressing how a Christian should address somebody that has wronged him. Looking around, Hector found a Bible and he could following along with the scriptures when they were read.

The room was extremely empty for a Sunday morning service. Only three other inmates were there. Hector wondered why the others had not come that morning, but he was quiet and just read along with the chaplain's preaching.

Chris and Curtis awoke around the same time. They each got ready for the day, not knowing what each other was going to do. Chris met Curtis downstairs in their kitchen. Curtis sat at the table reading the script and the music for Cats.

Chris sighed, "I always have to cook, don't I."

"Well, it's better if you cook than if I cook. You know that I'd practically burn the house down, Nerd."
