There is a handle on top of the water container that makes carrying the unit easy even when it is filled with 1.25 gallons of water. To fill the humidifier there is a large opening approximately 4 inches across in the bottom of the container, the container itself measures about 6 inches tall making it easy to fit under a sink faucet for filling with water.

The ReliOn Cool Moisture Humidifier, model rcm 832N has a fan that the blows the invisible mist out into the air. There are 2 humidity settings. The humidifier should be set at least 6 inches from the wall to allow proper airflow in and out of the system. The fan is creates a nice steady white noise, which also helps me too sleep better.

There is filter in the humidifier that traps unwanted minerals and bacteria from being dispersed into the air you are breathing.
