The truth is not simple and found rarely pure.
Haven't I learned enough still looking for a cure?
The virus is infecting the soundwave displays,
No point to repeat it... its forgotten anyways!

The past month or so I've felt so depressed.
My head hurts from the self induced stress.
I don't think I want her, but I don't want her gone
I have to move on but the road seems so long.
My mental infection needs an antibiotic,
I'm slowly driving myself to the point of psychotic.
I sit in my room with nothing but questions,
Missing the class that taught those life lessons.
I worry about things I can't seem to control,
Over and over, an uncontrollable overload.
I'm exploding with anger that I brought on myself
Why can't I stop it's no good for my health?

So I Play the game but look out for the dodge ball -
From side to side, back against the wall.
Red rover, Red rover, pass the sedative right here.
I'm clearing the canvas, a fresh pallet appears.
To start painting a picture you might not like.
You know you once said "stop living in the past Mike"
Well that's alright, cuz the future is right now!
I'm too proud to be crawling my way back on the ground.
Asking for acceptance, when I had it all right here.
It's so clear, since you made yourself disappear

No more thoughts of only being stuck
Misleading trails of a gentle mind fuck.
Circles of confusion, illusions that kill,
I seem to be outside, a rain drop on the window sill
Peering in to view the unprotected truth.
