Turn Your Bedroom into a NASCAR Bedroom

This is my ideal dream bedroom. Yes I know it is not very feminine or chic, but I would love to drift off into dream land among the stars of NASCAR. I am a huge NASCAR fan and have spent countless hours thinking of what the perfect NASCAR bedroom would look like
and here is what I came up with.

Paint Colors- Think race cars. Think race car red, checkered flags, yellow flags or my favorite....Jeff Gordon blue. Yeah I am a Jeff Gordon fan. His Chevy Monte Carlo is red, yellow and blue mostly. I would love to paint a huge picture of his car that takes up my entire wall, but my husband won't let me do that. But I think white and black paint which symbolizes the checkered flag would be cool.

Furniture- You can do a theme with your favorite driver but I think just a general NASCAR theme would be even better. A NASCAR rocking chair would look great in the corner of the bedroom. You can buy one online but they are a bit pricey so why not make your own? You can get a cheap rocking chair from your local yard sale if you don't have one already. You can paint it red or white or even black and white. If you are good at drawing, draw a picture of your favorite race car or draw a racetrack. A nice race car lamp would look awesome on a night stand. Now again, you can purchase one or make your own. The latter may be a bit harder to do but I thought of a cool idea. Find a lamp with a race car or any car on it. Then paint the car that is on there say red or blue, put some stripes on it and a car number and viola! you have a race car lamp.

Bedding- You can do your favorite driver or you can be a bit more creative. They do sell bedding with race cars or checkered flag. If you are on a budget, try a blue or red bedding set. These are NASCAR colors. Then you can just add some NASCAR throw pillows and you have the perfect NASCAR bed.

Wall Art- Make your own race car bulletin board. Again, you can buy one but if you are creative you can make your own. Shape some corkboard in the shape of an oval or racetrack. Then put some black and white checkered border or any color you want. The tack up pictures of your favorite driver and the latest racing schedule.
