You can turn your photos into a slide show screensaver using ACDSee Pro 2. You can edit the way that your screensaver will display the photos. You can add a caption to each photo and that will be displayed on the screensaver. In this tutorial I will show you how to create a slide show screensaver in ACDSee Pro 2. Open ACDSee Pro 2 and let it load all of the windows. Then go to the top and click Create > Create Slide Show File. A dialog box will open and this is where you will set up your slide show screensaver. I will walk you through each step.
The first section asks you what do you want to create. Tick the Create a New Slide Show field. Below that you will need to tick the Windows Screensaver field. Then click the Next button.
This section is where we will add the photos to the screensaver. Click the Add button. A window will open and you will need to locate the folder with your photos in the top left corner. Click the folder and you will see your photos in the top window. Select the photos that you want to add to your screensaver. Then click the Add button below the top window. This will place your photos in the bottom window. Click the Select All button and then click the OK button. You will be carried back to the dialog box that we were working in. Click the Next button to go to the next section.
This is where you will edit your photos. You can change the transition for each photo by clicking the transition link beside a photo. When the box opens, select the transition that you want and click OK. Go to the next photo and do the same thing.
You can change the time that the screensaver stays on one photo and you can change the time it takes between each photo. Click the Transition and Slide duration to change these. Then you can add a caption to each one by clicking the Caption link. Type in the box what you want to display with the photo. Then you can add an audio file to the photos by click the Audio link. I wouldn't recommend adding a file to each one because it wouldn't have time to play. You can add a music file in the next step that will play while the photos are displaying. Click the Next button to move on.
