2006 Topps Allen & Ginter Baseball Cards is set to hit the market in late July. It is one of the most highly anticipated baseball products among collectors. The cards are going to be modeled after the vintage Allen & Ginter products, allowing collectors to get a taste of the vintage cards without actually having to have the originals. 2006 Topps Allen & Ginter Baseball Cards will come in hobby boxes containing 24 packs. Each pack will contain 8 cards. On average, every hobby box will contain a combination of 2 of the following: Framed Autograph Cards, Game Used Memorabilia Cards, Printing Plates, or Allen & Ginter Original Vintage Cards. Every hobby box will also contain 1 box loader.

The original Allen & Ginter Baseball Cards featured not only the top baseball players, but some of the top names in culture outside of baseball. The 2006 Allen & Ginter set will be no different as athletes such as Mike Tyson and Danica Patrick will make appearances in the set. Topps will continue using historical figures from hundreds of years ago in their products as many of these figures will appear in 2006 Topps Allen & Ginter Baseball Cards.

The base set for 2006 Topps Allen & Ginter Baseball Cards will feature 350 cards. The first 300 cards will feature a combination of some of baseball’s current players as well as some of baseball’s top players from the past. There will be 10 Allen & Ginter reprints of original cards in the set as well. The other 40 cards will be broken up into 15 Superstar Athletes from outside of baseball and 25 Historical Figures.

51 different people have autographs in the 2006 Topps Allen & Ginter set. 39 of the autographs are from baseball players, while the other 12 are of other Superstars. There are 50 Game Used Memorabilia cards in the Allen & Ginter Relics set.

1500 total printing plates went into the 2006 Topps Allen & Ginter product making it possible for the casual collector to pull one. The printing plates are broken into two sets:
