Being a father myself, I decided to make a list of some gifts I would like for Christmas. What better way to find out what to get a father for Christmas, than to find out from a father himself? Obviously, anything that you would give a Father would be greatly appreciated no matter what it is. But why not get that inside scoop and get him something he will really enjoy this Christmas? These are just a few Ideas that I think most dads would enjoy.

Take him out fishing! Lots of fathers love to get outdoors and get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. This is also a great way to get some good bonding time in with dad too. Or, if you don't live near your father you can get him a new rod and real, or some other fishing gear. I know my tackle box can never be too full.

Is dad a do-it-yourself kind of guy? Get him some new tools this Christmas. You can never have too many tools. Either for his cars or for the house, he will greatly appreciate some more tools. Socket sets, wrenches, drills, sanders, etc.

Does your father find himself needing some pliers, a screwdriver, knife, bottle opener, etc. often? Hook him up with a Multi-Tool. These are great to carry on you or keep in the car. Lots of tools right at your finger-tips. Every father could use one of these.

Does a Multi-Tool seem a bit bulky for dad? How about a Swiss Army Knife? Much of the same features but in a much smaller package depending on what model you select. There are many different models available, so you can pick just the right one for dad.

How about that grill he's had his eye on? One of my favorite things to do is grill some burgers and steaks. A grill is a great way to say Merry Christmas. Already have a grill? Get him some accessories or a nice cover for it. You can even order him some nice gourmet steaks or other gourmet foods he can cook.

Is dad on the go a lot? Make sure he gets where he needs to be with a portable GPS unit. Trying to read a map while driving can be dangerous, and stopping to read it wastes valuable time. What guy wants to stop and ask for directions anyway? A GPS unit will get him where he needs to be on time.
