SAG Announces "Labor Solidarity with Writer's Rally"

Rally number 2. This Tuesday, November 19th, there will be a "Labor Solidarity With Writers - March and Rally Down Hollywood Boulevard."

According to an email sent by SAG to it's members, people will assemble at the cross streets of Hollywood Blvd. and Ivar Ave. at 1 pm. At 1:30 thousands will begin their march down Hollywood Blvd. in support of the writer's strike.

Quoted from my email from SAG, "Help write a chapter in Hollywood history. Join thousands of WGA members in support as they begin week three of the WGA strike against the AMPTP. March down Hollywood Boulevard with your fellow SAG members, writers, musicians, Teamsters, Service Employees and other unions in this fight for justice."

This rally is open to anyone who supports the writer's plight. As SAG has reiterated in each and every email, SAG does not condone assembling outside of preordained picket locations. While at a picket line, maintain professionalism and follow all laws. The purpose of the rally is to peacefully and calmly send a message that all workers demand justice.

With the help of fellow unions, SAG and the WGA hope that the studios will hear the message load and clear.
