Another Part

Fighting. It is one of the few constants in the universe. You fight to be born, you fight to survive through out life, and you fight to live if you are dieing. But have you ever fought someone you loved? I mean truly loved. It is not an easy thing to do. Especially when you know they love
 you just as much.

Prince: It has been days and my sister still struggles with the spirit within her. I feel I can only blame myself.

The prince sits by her side day after day hoping for some kind of change. But it only gets worse. With each passing day the personality of the invader grows stronger and more dominant. The mystics are having no effect on releasing the spell. The Prince closes his eyes and invokes the "Spell of Conference'.

Prince: My father the King.

King: Yes my Son.

Prince: My sister is losing the fight. She struggles hard...but I fear she will not win.

King: Yes, you may be right. I fear there is only one solution.

Prince: No! We cannot allow this to happen.

King: Calm yourself. This and all spells can not be taken lightly. Our lands have paid a terrible price for this already.

Prince: But something must be done to correct this...atrocity.

King: I know what is troubling you. You blame yourself. You believe yourself not skilled enough to dispatch the enemy and not knowledgeable enough in the mystic arts to help her in this most dire of need. But, remember, we all chose a path to walk. You chose the path of a Warrior's art and your sister the Mystic arts. Just as I chose this path, for it is I who called upon the final spell. And that spell will set our agriculture back for one generation. No matter how hard we try it will not rain. No matter how hard we try crops will not grow. This is the price I paid, we paid.

Prince" Yes father. I know the aphorism. "You cannot ask for what cannot be given. You cannot take that which cannot be owned." But father, why can't a simple unbinding spell work?

King: You forget the rest? "You cannot break that which is broken and you cannot fix that which is not broken." Do you remember the face of our assailant?

Prince: No, I fear in my rage all was blind to me. Save for what must be done in that moment.
