The global interest in acupuncture has been growing in intensity over the past couple of years. You see as traditional medicine in the west fails, people are turning to ancient ways of healing. Chinese acupuncture treatment has a history of thousands of years proving it to be effective in treating many kinds of disease.
One of the most important principles of Acupuncture is the selection of points. This can be done in many different ways. One is to select points on the diseased meridian of the organ that is related. The second refers to a selection of pints not only from the affected meridian, but also from the meridians related to the affected meridian. The third is used for symptoms caused by several diseased meridians. This approach is used when a patient does not respond to the selected points of one or two meridians points of other meridians should be used too.
