The Holiday Season is Starting and Here Are Tips from an Airline to Avoid Problems
The holiday travel season has arrived, with the Thanksgiving season upon us. Many people will travel by air for Thanksgiving, and even more will travel over the Christmas andOne of the biggest concerns many people have if they have not traveled in the past year and a half is the policies regarding liquids and carry-on bags containing them. Frontier Airlines included several tips in their press release. The largest a container can be that contains liquid in your carry-on luggage is 3.4 ounces. Even if a larger container contains less than 3.4 ounces of liquid it will not be permitted in your carry-on baggage. The press release goes on to state that all of these 3.4 oz or smaller containers must be contained within a single quart/liter sized zip-top clear plastic bag. If the bag is larger than one quart/liter or is not zip top it will be rejected. Keep in mind larger containers of liquids can be packed in your checked baggage if you must bring them with you on your trip.
With this age of technology that we live in, Frontier Airlines strongly suggests taking advantage of the features the website of the airline you are flying on offers. This means taking advantage of checking in online if you have an e-ticket. Many times passengers that check in online, can avoid long lines to check their baggage by finding a special line designated for those that have checked in already online. Don't forget about the ability to check your flight's status online either. This is especially important during the holiday season with delays along with the weather turning inclement in many areas of the country this time of year.
