If you enjoy horror movies, you like gross humor, you keep up with actor/comedian Jim Carrey, or you read Playboy Magazine, then you surely know who Jenny McCarthy is. She was born on November 1, 1972 in Chicago to Dan, a steel worker, and Linda, a housewife. Her three sisters Lynette, Joanne and Amy rounded out the McCarthy Family. A little known fact about Jenny McCarthy is that she graduated from Mother McAuley Liberal High School in 1990, then enrolled at Southern Illinois University Carbondale to become a nurse. Her father worked hard to send his daughters to a private Catholic school. But there was no money for Jenny's college education. So, she applied to become a model to earn the money. Jenny was considered too "curvaceous" for that job. She then submitted her photos to Playboy Magazine. The editors paid her thirty grand to pose as Miss October 1993. Read this informative article and find out more little known facts about Jenny McCarthy you'll find interesting!

Her Career
The late Anna Nicole Smith (1967 - 2007) was chosen as the "Playmate of the Year" in 1993. Then came the newfound Jenny McCarthy in 1994. Along with the title, she received $100,000 in cash and prizes. McCarthy discarded her plans of studying nursing and moved to Los Angeles to host Playboy's Hot Rocks TV show. From there, she hosted MTV's dating show called Singled Out. Jenny McCarthy also hosted a self-titled show for MTV in 1997, and a sitcom flop titled Jenny.

A little known fact about Jenny McCarthy is that she had her breasts enlarged in 1993 for her Playboy career. She then had the implants removed in 1998. Her measurements are 38 - 24 - 34.

The five-foot-seven-inch, one-hundred and twenty-one pound blonde made her film debut in Diamonds in 1999. The movie was directed by then-hubby John Asher. The following year, she acted in the horror flick, Scream 3. Then came a part in Scary Movie 3 alongside Pamela Anderson in 2003.

I know a lady who blames her son's autism on a childhood vaccination. It's so sad.

I became a fan after seeing her on Oprah. I used to find her disgusting due to some of her work and actions early in her career, but now I see a genuine and dedicated Mom. WOnderful example of not judging a book by its cover. Great article

I hadn't heard of Jenny McCarthy until just now. I can really relate to her personal experiences of autism though, as my oldest brother is autistic. Sophie
