In appreciation for the sacrifice's made by members of the armed services, many tourist attractions throughout the country offer free admission to active duty military personnel. Some offer this as an ongoing incentive while others offer it only periodically. Please remember to check websites or call to insure that the offer is still valid.

The San Diego Zoo's Wild Animal Park located in San Diego, California and home to more than 3,500 rare and exotic animals, offers free admission to active duty military personnel with valid I.D.

Naples Zoo at Caribbean Gardens located in Naples, Florida offers free admission to military personnel over Veteran's Day weekend, valid I.D. required. This is a yearly event at the moment but check their calendar before your visit to insure they have not discontinued the offer.
