Locked in the place of concrete and steel.

Crawling into my ear and strolling through my mind

Feelings of remorse overcame me

With each heavy, metallic clink

Crawling into my ear and strolling through my mind

Seven nights upon a chilly slab

With each heavy, metallic clink

It's nobody's fault but mine

Seven nights upon a chilly slab

Eating wish sandwiches and thinking

It's nobody's fault but mine

And the song remained the same

Eating wish sandwiches and thinking

Leave the THC alone

And the song remained the same

What I said to police was wrong

Leave the THC alone

Positivity is the only way

What I said to police was wrong

To those officers I apologize

Positivity is the only way

Feelings of remorse overcame me

As I sat and lost valuable work time

Locked in the place of concrete and steel
