The Imperial Hotel is truly a remarkable five star hotel experience in the Janpath area of New Delhi. One of the oldest hotels in Delhi, the Imperial is an art deco marvel from pre-partition India. Indeed, many famous people from the past and present have stayed here, including MK Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru, and Ambitabh Bachan. The Imperial is not only an ancient building, but it's a historical landmark for political activity, meetings, and changed that have had effects all over India. The Imperial features some two hundred and thirty rooms, a fitness centre, a gorgeous pool, and multiple restaurants and bars.

The Imperial houses two world famous restaurants, The Spice Route and 1911, in addition to its five floors of luxurious rooms. Rooms are spacious and comfortable in European style. The Imperial is run as a European five star hotel may operate, with a level of service and amenities unparalleled in Delhi. The region surrounding the Imperial is basically central Delhi - within walking distance from the Tibetan Market,Palika Bazaar, and other famous edifices in greater New Delhi near Connaught Place.

Not only does the hotel offer a wide range of amenities and comforts, it houses a massive British Art collection. Throughout the hotel and in its galleries, art from past and present creates a unique ambiance and residential experience.

Service at the Imperial is top notch. From the room service, to the morning newspaper and phenomenal buffet breakfast spread, the five star standard takes a new level at the Imperial. Perhaps the only complaint about this hotel is that the internet access (via Wi-Fi only) is very expensive when compared to other five star hotels in Delhi, and tremendously expensive when compared to cyber cafes located throughout Delhi.
