With the election year fast approaching and primaries starting in a few months, politics will soon be in our face at every turn we take. Annoying signs scattered everywhere, creating a garage-sale frenzy littering every corner. Yard sale spectacular displays of candidate hawking. The most difficult part is trying to figure out who really is the best candidate?

The biggest problem is the biased control of politics today--the media! It used to be you could turn to a newspaper to see the facts, and today if it's a train wreck, (unless the conductor was a family member of the newspaper), you can expect a pretty good, straight forward report. Not true in politics. Newspapers, television and radio, the biggest media outlets in the country are all in somebody's pocket. CNN is so Hillary obsessed, they make it appear she won every vote, made 100 on every test, and has already won the election. If she screws up (which is often) they spin it like she just saved your grandmother from jumping off the bridge.

The trouble with the news, is that, well--it's no longer the news! It has now become their agenda. Each paper in America has long strayed from the unbiased reporting of the facts. Now we read what the editorial board wants us to believe, not what is the fact. Ever wonder about the many polls that state the majority of everyone, anywhere, positively agree with their story? Only to back it up saying they actually know the percentage (usually always only .5 to 2%) of the margin they may have erred! The problem is, you have been discussing it all week and no one you have talked to, or ever met in your whole life, agrees with what they just reported!

Got that right. It is so bad, people hear the word "democrat" and automatically think...for the common man. Then a Black man (actually half Black) runs, it is now the party of the Black person. The media has done a lovely job trying to make the "democratic" party out to be one in which it is for all people. Every time I have a chat about politics with people in general, they never know what the hell they are talking about. Just get Bush out, the Republicans are evil, blah blah blah. I try to talk sense into them, and yet they do not listen. A blind man threatened to hit me with his cane when I said McCain was a decent candidate who will win.

BY GOD MAN!!! You are funny as Hell Boris! I love your no nonsense presentation and I suspect, I love your politics too. Anyway, keep smackin' the stupid. Eventually it might bring a few of them to their senses. Oh, and since you're new to AC, WELCOME. And pay no attention to the rather low ratings you will acquire in the future. There is a little group of chickenshits who, no matter how factual and well-written your offering, they vote 1 star and move on. They rarely comment 'cause they're unable to counter the logic, but they love to down rate. It's an "electronic tantrum," so pay them no mind. Look at the source, and forgive them, for they are too stupid to know what they do.hehe

Boris - Welcome to AC! You have provided a well written article that speaks volumes. Thanks and I believe more of America concurs than disagrees with your thesis.
