In fact, the show parallels Pete & Pete in the sense that Little Pete had his own weekly ham-radio show, while Carly has her own weekly webcast. Another clear link is the wry sense of sarcastic humor that both shows seem to share. But enough of the time traveling. It's time for some mini-recaps of some awesome iCarly episodes!
Episode Two: iWant More Viewers (air date: 09/08/2007)
Carly and Sam have a contest going on with Freddie and Spencer to see who can bring in the most viewers for their new web show. This episode proves that going overboard doesn't always pay off. Letting things unfold on their own is usually much easier, not to mention a lot more fun.
Episode Three: iDream of Dance (air date: 09/16/2007)
Carly and Sam decide to hold a dance competition for iCarly. Thanks to all of the crazy video clips that kids send in to them, Carly has an amazing dream. Let's just say that a cute boy and some fancy footwork are involved.
Episode Four: iLike Jake (air date: 09/22/2007)
Carly has a crush on a boy named Jake. He plans to sing a song for iCarly, however, it's discovered that he's a terrible singer. The show's technical producer, Freddie, says he can fix that. Maybe so, but at what cost?
Episode Five: iWanna Stay With Spencer (air date: 09/29/2007)
Carly and Spencer's grandfather pays them a surprise visit. After a slew of unfortunate mishaps, combined with really bad timing, he insists that Spencer is not responsible enough to be Carly's legal guardian. Will Carly be forced to move to Yakima? I'm not saying. You'll just have to check it out for yourself. ;)
