STEVE CARLSON ROCKS SCIFI FANS in CHICAGO

Last Saturday, November 10th at the Creation Convention Salute to Supernatural/Smallville/Buffy The Vampire Slayer event held in Chicago, urban music star Steve Carlson rocked the house down with his own unique style of country/urban folk rock music.

In 2004 Carlson formed the Steve Carlson band along with Bassist Steve Dress, Drummer Timothy Jimenez and Saxophonist David Olivas and their unique style of storyteller's music became a huge hit on the LA club scene and Carlson continues to draw crowds to his Sunday night performances at
the L'Scorpion club in Los Angeles. In the summer of 2005 The Steve Carlson Band released their first album, Rolling On and widened their listening audience. The album included back up vocals by Carlson's good friend, actor Jensen Ackles who has since gone on to star as Dean Winchester in the hit CW/Warner Bros. series Supernatural.

Coming off of a highly successful tour in England, where his refreshing style of urban grassroots music was met with enthusiasm by British fans, Carlson who has music ties to the series Supernatural - his song 'Night Time' was featured in the Supernatural season one episode 'Provenance'- was tapped by Creation Entertainment to perform a live concert for fans attending the Creation Salute to Supernatural/Smallville/ Buffy the Vampire Slayer event held in Chicago the weekend of November 10-11th. The concert was held on Saturday night and fans that attended were treated to an amazing display of musical entertainment.
