Writers use inspirational mottos and quotes as do many other people who post information on message boards and other public forums. It's sometimes difficult to find just the right inspirational mottos or quotes, but the following list of mottos and quotes will help make your search a little easier. Here you'll find twenty-five inspirational mottos and quotes, and one of them just might fit your personality and your unique style. I've had a few different mottos and quotes, but I've finally settled on a favorite, and it's one simple line that fits my individuality and sums up my feelings to a tee.

My Number One Motto

My motto is a shortened version of a bit of inspirational wisdom provided by the one and only Dr. Seuss. He said, "Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind." I had to shorten his quote to fit within the text box of my writing profile, and I switched the order of his words. In essence my motto says the same thing as the original inspirational motto coined by Dr. Seuss, but my version says, "Say what you feel, because those who matter don't mind, and those who mind don't matter."

My inspirational mottos and quotes are a part of who I am. I speak up for what I believe in, and I've always thought that if someone doesn't accept me or like me because of what I believe in, then they're the one with the problem. My favorite inspirational mottos and quotes are as follows, and if you don't like them, I respect your opinion, but you're free to keep on searching!

The Other Twenty-Four Inspirational Mottos and Quotes

"If my doctor told me I had only six minutes to live, I wouldn't brood. I'd type a little faster." - Isaac Asimov

"All good novels have one thing in common - they are truer than if they had really happened." - Ernest Hemingway

"There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you." - Maya Angelou

"It's ironic that the human race exerts such considerable effort to locate other habitable planets while being so hell bent on destroying the habitability of our own planet." - Christian Glenn

I enjoyed reading all of the ones in the article-also really like the one Trici Goss quoted by C.S. Lewis-I try to remember what St Paul said in his book to the Roman Christians (Romans 8:31b) paraphrased-"If God is for us-who can be against us!"
