During the game, players assume the role of a Predator. The player has access to a wide array of weaponry and other equipment. These weapons are meant to wipe out all of the Aliens that have appeared on planet Earth. This is the main focus for the player as he or she plays the game. Playing as the Predator in the game has its advantages thanks to his almighty wrist computer. This wrist computer gives the player the power to use thermal vision, Pred-tech vision and cloaking, thus making it easier to hunt and kill the Aliens. Players also have access to other Predator weapons such as: wrist blades, shoulder cannons, etc. All of these weapons are used to kill both Aliens and humans; nothing can stand in the way.
The gameplay is pretty simple and easy to follow. As you kill more Aliens you receive more "Honor Points", thus allowing you to use numerous additional weapons as well as the option to upgrade. But, in order to gain these points, the player must closely follow the Predator's value system. Also, the players are able regenerate their health by killing an Alien.
The co-op multiplayer mode is exciting. In this mode, players are able to link up with their friends, who also must have a PSP, thus allowing the players to act as a team. Keep in mind this is all done wirelessly, which makes it very easy to join one another in the game. The players act a team of Predators, with the intent to eradicate all Alien life forms.
