Love it or hate it, Black Friday is only days away. If you are one of the super shoppers on Black Friday this year retailers offer deals worth waking early. Fill up on Turkey, Thursday, and get to bed early. If you live in the metro Atlanta area stores open as early as 4 am (Khol's).

Below are some of the best bargains to be found on Black Friday in and around the Atlanta area. All of the stores below have locations in town and the surrounding suburbs of Gwinnet, Cobb, Paulding, Douglas, Dekalb, North Fulton and Carol Counties.

Kennesaw, Marietta, Roswell, Dunwoody, Smyrna, Tucker, East Point, Peachtree City, Douglasville, Hiram, Alpharetta, Norcross, Morrow and more cities near you offer a plethora of shopping. The key to a successful Black Friday is plotting your course, dividing up the family into shopping teams if necessary, and, in extreme cases, hit the store extra early to line up. Yes, it has come to that.

Keep in mind, on Black Friday that Atlanta area retailers use "Door Busters" and "Early Bird" specials to lure you to their store. Quantities of these items are often very limited. If a particular ad has drawn you to a store, head to the "Early Bird Special" first. Sell outs happen fast and you will not have time to get to another store before they sell out.

That is what the retailer bargains for: you get to their store and rather than fight the traffic and crowds you will go ahead and spend a few hundred dollars before you leave the store. Pay close attention to prices on items that are not Black Friday sale items. If you aren't careful, you'll make up the difference in the "steal" you got on a selected item by overpaying on other items.

The good news for you is that retailers, anxious about this holiday shopping season, are bringing on the bargains. Sales, bargains, and specials overviewed below include: Best Buy, Circuit City, Burlington Coat Factory Outlet, Radio Shack, and Toys R Us.

Great job Lenora! This will surely help some folks in Atlanta decide which store to hit first. Personally, Kohl's and Wal-Mart have always been my favorites for these type of events.

Nice article on Black Friday finds in Georgia. I've never ever gone out shopping on Black Friday, I'm clausterphobic so I doubt I ever will. Some of these Black Friday deals in the Atlanta area sound really great though! I'd probably send my husband out for some of those Black Friday deals!
