When Lush introduced their new holiday line to their bath and body line of goods, I could not wait to get my hands on them all. I wished I had a Lush store nearby, but unfortunately the closest one we have is in New York City. Thats an hour drive just to get Lush products. I like many girls who have fallen in love had no choice but to place out orders in an online shopping cart, and hope that what we order smells good. There are no in store sniff tests for us.

My holiday order included Bob. Bob is a soap. A holiday soap.

I had no clue what Bob would smell like, or how well it would work, but I ordered anyway. $5.95, and nearly a month later Bob finally made his way to my door step.

I opened my package, and sifted through the rest of my order for Bob. At the bottom of the box there he sat, wrapped up in a deli wrap with a sticker on it with his name. Bob.

I lifted the bar of soap up and peeled the wrap. Bob smelled nothing like I thought it would, Bob was supposed to smell like a sweet Yuletide holiday mixed with cinnamon, citrus, and cloves.

My Bob smelled like watered down sweet tarts. I detected some cinnamon, but not a high overpowering cinnamon scent that I was expecting. I imagine Bob smelling like an odd mix of apple pie and orange. Bob smelled odd alright, but nothing like one would expect from Lush.

Bob also looked nothing like Bob was supposed to look. The internet has a way of exaggerating things. (I mean tons of people try passing themselves off as beauty queens in date line service...yet when you meet them they look nothing like they do in their photo; Bob is like that)

Bob presented himself on the Lush website as a triangular shaped slice of pie. He was lime green in color, with red squared cubes that were infused with his green. Bob looked like a slice of pie with cherries in the mix....when Bob got to my house though he must of been sick, because he was all green.

Bob Soap was not even the lime green presented to me in the photo. Bob was a puke green, mossy green, or forest green if you will.
