I'm always on the look out for a new shampoo and conditioner to try on my hair. My hair is reasonably manageable, but it becomes dry and damaged from coloring and highlighting it from time to time. This product has a "Pro-Vitamin Formula to Cleanse and Condition." The front of the bottle also reads, "for dry or damaged hair." When I saw it on the store shelf, it sounded like the perfect hair product for me. And I loved the convenience of being able to wash and condition my hair in the same step- a time-saver! Read this Suave Professionals 2 in 1 Smoothing Shampoo Plus Conditioner Review and find out if this product is for you too!

Product Description
Suave is a long-time leader in the hair care industry. To me, it's a name I can trust. Suave is known for its fantastic products, as well as its affordability. This 18.1 ounce bottle of Suave Professionals cost just a few bucks at my local CVS Pharmacy. It was a specially-marked bottle where you got 25% free.

Test Results
Suave Professionals 2 in 1 Smoothing Shampoo Plus Conditioner is white in color, and it's rich and creamy. You simply use this product just like any other comparable one: wet hair, lather and rinse. You don't need a lot of shampoo/conditioner at one time to wash your hair with either. Just a small dab for my thick, short hair does the job well. It has an attractive, fresh smell. It lathered up beautifully- an aspect of any shampoo and conditioner combination that's important to me- and quickly. Most importantly, this product left my hair shiny, soft and manageable. I haven't seen any split ends or those dreaded frizzies either since I've been using this Suave product.

I agree, Suave is among the best of the drugstore products-- thanks for the review. I could totally use a smoothing shampoo so I'll check it out next time I'm at the drugstore.

Suave seems to generally outdo other generics by far. Funny thing back in cosmetology school some years ago, Suave (balsam shampoo) was recommended as a product not to get! It has come a long way. :-)

I would use it. Suave always makes great products, which is surprising since they are usually among the lowest priced items on the isle.
