The Myspace Beta Profile Editor
However, once you save a design using the beta editor, do not expect to go back to the way your page was before you edited it. The only way to change the page is to use the beta editor again if you want to try to get it close to the way it used to be. The beta editor is so simple to use, that you probably will not mind that you cannot change the page back to the way it was. It is more fun just to try new design ideas. You get to see the results of each change to your profile as you make it and nothing is permanent until you click "save".
Click on the Customize tab to go to the special editor. You can edit the Background, Modules, Images, Text, and Links. In the Background and Module sections, you can use pictures from the saved pics on a myspace profile as background pictures or you can change the background color of the page or modules. You can change the colors or add a picture to all of the modules at one time. You can change the colors and/or pictures of some of the modules on the myspace page individually. You can adjust the thickness, style and color of borders of the modules and the page. You can totally hide a module by changing the transparency of the module from 100% to 0% or you can make it translucent by setting the transparency somewhere between the two. You can change the Images and Links so that they do special effects when a visitor does a mouse-over.
