As I write this I am wondering how many of us will be participating in Black Friday? On one hand I would love to go and purchase some of the awesome deals that are being offered. On the other hand, I do not deal well with rude and obnoxious people that seem to pop out of the wood work on Black Friday. I will decide Friday morning!

If you enjoy good deals, then I am sure you are familiar with Big Lots. This store chain makes their money from offering daily deals on popular items; sometimes over half off the manufacturer's retail price seen at other stores. Black Friday is no exception!

13 toys at only $20 each. Some of these toys include Mr. Potato Head Parts 'n Pieces, Supper Chopper and a Drum Set by Little Tike's.

240 piece art set, 52 piece gel pen set and a scrap tote album kit; all for $10.

Gift wrap rolls for $2 and more.

Our local Wal-Mart; is having their sale 5 am to 11 am on Friday, 24th November. If you get there early enough you can pick up a Dell laptop for $598, a HP DeskJet printer for $34, the Rockband™ Special Edition for Xbox or Playstation®3 for $169.92 and many more. Don't pass up these awesome deals!

According to Kohl's flyer, they have "over 250 early bird specials, Friday 4am to 1pm only". Some of these deals include; 50% of their entire stock of toys, an extra 20% off jewelry that is already reduced by 40-60%. Don't forget that you will also receive $10 in Kohl's cash for every $50 in purchases.

Don't forget Target and Best Buy ; they also have Black Friday deals.

There are so many places to shop for Black Friday deals; you will probably want to shop them all; so how do you decide? Look through some ads, go to your favorite stores and using a list seems to help. Don't purchase anything that you don't need. I tell you this from experience! Make a list of the people for whom you are buying, along with gift ideas and stick to that list. This really is essential so you don't end up wasting money on gifts you will never give out. Not only will it help if you are budgeting, but you will probably be happier knowing you did not go overboard on your purchases. You don't really want to feel guilty for spending money you don't really have.

That is funny Julz! I can't image being on and then not purchasing anything. I am glad you made it home safely though. ;)

Ha,ha Tony. I didn't end up going; except for much needed groceries later in the day. By then traffic was good and the store was pretty easy to get around. I get easily aggravated at the idiots that come out of the woodwork. ;)

Good info., but not for me. I'll pay extra to avoid the crowds. I'll do most of my shopping via the net this year. Enjoy and I hope the Holiday season greets you well.

I did Black Friday twice in my life. I hope never again. You seem to have hit the major sales. Good info.
