It's well known that what is good for the body, is good for the heart. Dr. John Mulhall at the New York Presbyterian changes this motto by saying: "What's good for the heart, is good for the penis."

Studies have found that sex drives are closely connected to what we eat and drink. If you eat food that's rich in Omega3 it can make a whole world of difference when the night comes. Especially fish and seafood have vitamins and fat that really get your nerve-system and circulation going. For those who feel like they're getting sick by hearing salmon, cod, and tuna, multi vitamins can be a good option, as these also gives your body the omega3.

Dr. Barbara Bartlik, at the Cornell medical Center says: "Sex is really about circulation."

It's not only seafood that's good for your sex life, food with lots of the natural amino acid L-Arginine is also good for the circulation, and a list of foods include white flour, peanuts, dairy products, garlic, seeds and walnuts. Add these together, and make a really good dinner to get a real sex-bomb out of a meal!

There are things women can do also, they on the other hand needs lots of soy. The soy bean connects estrogen receptors, which increases wetness in the vaginal area. Women who have previously suffered breast cancer need to be careful, as they should refrain from soy products. Otherwise, there's lots of good foods that can be made using soy, or you could even just take a glass of soy milk.

In addtion to this, too much saturated fat is bad for both your heart and your penis, it clogs your veins, thereby leading to a poor circulation of blood to the sexual organs. But be sure to get at least some fat, as it's the fat that produces hormones. Just try to stick to the kind you find in fish, nuts and olive oil.

As a side-note, American men have never before spent so much money on Viagra, maybe it's time to think out side the box and try to get to the source of the problem, instead of just taking the quick and easy way out.
