What Should Happen on the Season Finale, and What WILL Happen

In just a few short days, the ballroom lights will darken as the Fall 2007 season of Dancing with the Stars draws to a close. One of
the three remaining couples - Indy Car Champ Helio Castroneves and partner Julianne Hough, Spice Girl Melanie Brown and partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy, or Entertainer Marie Osmond and partner Jonathan Roberts - will waltz away with the coveted Mirrorball Trophy on Tuesday evening.

The current edition of Dancing with the Stars has been the most controversial - and bizarre - since the very first season, when Soap Star Kelly Monaco overtook the heavily favored and far more consistent dancer Actor John O'Hurley to take the win. This season has witnessed a number of strange events: The field was stunned when judge favorite Cheetah Girl Sabrina Bryan and partner Mark Ballas were eliminated from the competition after only the sixth week of dancing. Marie Osmond fainted dramatically during a live broadcast, and then lost her father the day after she performed a number in his honor. Jane Seymour lost her mother and suffered a bad case of food poisoning. With so many oddities in the rearview mirror, the key to looking at the finale is to expect the unexpected, and of course, vote for your favorite.

And now starts another one (great overview)
Great article. I was sad that Sabrina didn't win.
Again, cool article.
You have done a super job of keeping me updated on this season, such a wild ride of a season, too!
Good job!
A show I missed.
