Creative Valentine's Day Ideas
Personal Items
Nothing says love than a present that shows you pay attention. Make sure to really pay attention to what your significant other sees on TV or in the stores. It may be a book they find interesting, or the next best seller form their favorite author. If they are a collector, buying a Valentine's present that fits into their collection is a great way to go. For the sports fan, a pair of hard-to-find tickets to their favorite team's game may be enough to bring on tears of happiness. A team jersey or other sports clothing item is also a great idea. For women, gift certificates for a spa, hair salon or nail salon may be a wonderful gift.
Time
One of the best Valentine's Day presents is the gift of time. Plan a romantic dinner for just the two of you, either at his or her favorite restaurant or one you make yourself. Buy gift certificates for a couple's spa treatment. Plan a weekend getaway for both of you. If you have kids, a night out on the town alone can make a wonderful Valentine's present. Going out for dinner, dancing, or even a play at the local theater not only makes a great gift, but can also put some needed spice back in the romance department. Spend time just reconnecting and getting to know one other, and you'll create a Valentine's Day to remember.
