Some bathrooms are small in size thus leaving little room for change in the setup of the arrangement, but still there is room for improvement. Other bathrooms are sizable and can easily be changed due to the spacious environment, but cost must be considered when making drastic changes.
New toilets and tubs will quickly transform a dull bathroom into dazzling. Fancy fixtures can add some pizzazz, as well.
Compare prices for the best deal. Although large chains such as Lowe's or Home Depot can seem to be fabulous for selection and price, there are other options available. It is possible to find excellent deals at specialty stores, local lumber yards, and even department stores like Wal-Mart. Don't always sacrifice quality for a good price. You may get a terrific faucet from Wal-Mart that is comparable to the quality at Lowe's, but this probably won't be the cheapest faucet on the shelf.
If you have a large area for a counter and vanity, you may want to steer clear of the traditional double sink variety from the store. There are alternative ideas that can save some money. First, consider how badly you want double sinks. If you really desire the comfort and convenience, then go for it. But, if you aren't that interested in the extra sink, you can still enjoy the counter space without paying for the extra faucet and plumbing.
It may be less expensive to purchase standard countertop and put in a drop-in sink. This idea can also be very beneficial if your remodeling project does not have standard placement of the sink.
