Flying in the sky is becoming a luxury that many companies are starting to take advantage of. The perception that flying has to be strictly business is finally disappearing. Companies and individuals are starting to have more fun with flying. This is because more and more companies are offering new amenities that are truly on the cusp of upper luxury. A quick look at the new Airbus A380 shows you how this is defiantly one true statement. The Airbus A380 is a name given to a very massive airplane. The airplane is built to hold over 800 people on it. Instead, the plane has opted to eliminate the 800+ seats needed to hold that amount of people for a more luxurious and roomy plane ride. Glimpse into the plane and find that the seats have been replaced with a few private suites that are further enhanced with built in LCD television sets and twin beds. The walls can also be moved around to further transform the interior of the plane into more bedrooms or more party areas to enjoy your flight.
There is an upper deck and lower deck to plane. The upper deck can be used for hair salons, shops, or conference rooms. You might also see showers, gymnasiums, and casinos built into the upper deck area in the future as well. The bottom deck currently features comfortable furniture and a bar that comes equipped with an actual bartender to make all your drinks. And do not forget about the fully adjustable seats and beds that are also installed throughout the plane. You will truly be treated like a king or queen by flying on one of these planes.
The first flight took place a couple of months ago. A group of lucky passengers were asked if they wanted to take part in the maiden voyage. Some reports state that the individuals had to shell out a little over $100K for two suites. The company is also selling the mile high club idea through a slogan that informs you that joining the club has never been easier. With the built in televisions, bottles of flowing alcohol, and some of the world's most comfortable beds, I can see why they would choose that slogan. Look for the planes to be used by nearly every airline by 2013.
