A Quick Look at the Future of Chrysler - 2008 Jeep Renegade

Taking the time out of your busy schedule to visit several automotive sites can really inform you on what is going to happen in the next couple of years. Many of us understand that solar cars are slowly becoming things of the past. This is due to the popularity of hydrogen based vehicles, fuel cells, lithium ion-powered electron motors, and diesel generators. The new technologies are causing auto manufacturers to come up with new car models to draw people towards them. Who better to ask than the consumer itself.

Chrysler asked many of their loyal drivers to work with them to create several next-generation designs for future vehicle models. The designs were then compared to one another and resulted in the selection of only one design. What resulted was the creation of the Chrysler Jeep Renegade 2008 concept. A close look at the design shows something straight out of the Halo video game world. With Halo being so hugely popular right now, what else could we have expected from the younger generation.

The finished result is one cool looking automobile. Attached (hopefully) is a drawing of what the vehicle will look like. The outside will have several similarities to a tank. A closer look shows you that the design is a Jeep and Tank hybrid. The designers chose to have the vehicle run on a lithium ion-powered electron motor and a small Bluetec diesel generator. Understandably, it is most unlikely that both options will be used in the first model of this vehicle. The actual inside of the vehicle is still a work in progress, but the outside design is almost a guarantee to happen.
