Shania Starlight: Perfume Review

I enjoy sampling the latest perfumes on the market. One of the perfumes that I have recently come across is Shania Starlight. Shania Twain's Starlight perfume is by Stetson. Here, I will share some of the things that I do and do not like about Shania Starlight perfume.

Shania Starlight is Very Affordable

One of the things that I must say about Shania Starlight is the fact that it is very affordable. For 1.7 oz, you will pay about $30 for Shania Starlight. For 3.4 oz, you will pay about $40 for this Shania Twain fragrance. Gift sets are even more affordable. Of course, prices of Starlight will vary according to retailer, but in general, they are not too expensive. Perfumes and colognes which have a celebrity name attached to them are often very expensive. For this reason alone, I think that Shania Starlight is quite affordable. For its affordability, I must give Shania Starlight 5 stars.

Shania Starlight Has a Fresh Scent

Most celebrity perfumes have a fruity scent, like Fantasy by Britney Spears, or a floral scent, like M by Mariah Carey. Although some are a bit uniquely scented, they can typically be put into one of these two categories. Shania Starlight by Stetson does not have a fruit or floral scent. Starlight does, however, have a very fresh scent. Shania Starlight reminds me more of a classic perfume than one with a celebrity name attached to it, mainly since it is so fresh scented. For its uniquely fresh scent, I give Shania Starlight 4.5 stars.

Shania Starlight is a Bit Strong

If you prefer light scented fragrances, then Shania Starlight may not be the best option for you. While it is not the heaviest scented perfume that I have ever smelled, Starlight is definitely pretty heavy. Although it cannot compare to how heavily scented certain men's colognes are, I do think that Shania Starlight is a bit strong. I would not recommend you to use any more than two sprays of Starlight, as it would just be entirely overpowering. For the overall strength of the Shania Starlight scent, I give this perfume 3.5 stars.
