Everyone in Berkshire County has been telling me to try a new Chinese restaurant called China Buffet. Each of them have explained to me that the selection of food that is available is awesome. The price for one adult is $8.99 and you are guaranteed to always leave with a full stomach. I decided that it was about time that I go and see what all the hype was about. Friday night came and I gathered up my girlfriend and her two brothers and went out to get my eat on.My initial reaction of the restaurant was that they were very busy. However, I was determined to eat there and was willing to put up with the rather large crowd. We were quickly greeted and brought to our table. A waitress came over and asked us what we would like to drink. It amazed me how quick she was. Sadly, it took her quite some time to get our drinks to us. This was because she was the only one working at the time. On a night in which there was nearly fifty tables full of people, this was not a smart move. Luckily, I was more concerned at seeing what type of food they had to offer.
We all made our way up to the buffet to seek out our meals for the night. There was a wide selection of Chinese food and American favorites. You had lo mien noodles, pork fried rice, buffalo wings, sesame chicken, special cooked pork, and so much more. I was shocked to see that they even offered pizza and french fries as well. The pizza was actually pretty damn good and a lot better than some of the pizza I have had more recently. Overall, the food was also really good. There was not too much salt on any of the products and everything was perfectly cooked. The restaurant did a good job of providing us with some pretty good food.
