Many people drive around with their blinkers on, totally unaware. If a person has no idea his turn signal is on, then what ELSE isn't the lame-brain aware of -- the stop sign ahead? The merging lane ahead? The pedestrian ahead? How can a driver not know his or her blinker is on? I see this constantly, and I just cannot comprehend how a person can be so brain-dead to his or her surroundings. Leaving a turn signal on fakes out other motorists. Come on, admit it; you've been faked out yourself! The driver in the lane next to you is slightly ahead of you. He's on your right. His left blinker is on. You anticipate that any moment, he's going to shift into your lane ahead of you. But he never does, even though you've given him plenty of room. You end up driving slowly for nothing. You finally pass the goon up and look in your rearview; he still does not make the lane change, and his blinker is still on. What a moron. This faking out has the potential to cause accidents and even road rage.

How do blinkers get left on in the first place? I can only suppose that a driver flips it on, then decides not to make the turn. But then he can't remember he flipped it on! Sheesh! I wouldn't want THIS guy removing my appendix! Not only can't he remember something so crucial, that happened just moments prior, but he also can't HEAR the blinker, either! Or maybe he can, but he's not bright enough to register what the blinking sound is. He's tuning it out. Which means he's tuning other thing out, like the stop sign ahead...
