Paige Premium Denim jeans are one of the hottest-selling premium denim brands in the fashion world, mainly due to their reputation for being the most figure-flattering. Created by Paige Adams-Geller, who was previously the fit model for such premium denim lines as Seven For All Mankind, Citizens of Humanity, True Religion and Joe's Jeans, these jeans are known to enhance butts of all shapes and sizes.

Paige has now become the first of the high-fashion brands to break the size barrier by creating a plus-size line, which is available for sale exclusively at nordstrom.com. These jeans are identical to the mainstream line in every way, unlike other design lines which differentiate by putting "plus" right on the label. However, there are only two styles available in plus sizes at this time, as compared to over fifty in the misses' line.

Paige Premium Denim jeans are expensive, a lot more money than such plus-sized staples as Avenue or Lane Bryant Right Fit jeans, at $198 for the dark rinse boot-cut style "Mandeville Canyon," and $209 for the similar but faded "Las Palmas." (All of the Paige styles are named after neighborhoods in Los Angeles, her native city.) But they are worth every penny for the larger-sized fashionista who wants a recognizable label on her butt. And flatter that butt they do-I wasn't sure whether to believe the hype or not, and I ordered them sight-unseen the first day they were available on the internet, but when I wore them recently to a family gathering, several people thought I had lost weight. They are also the first pair of jeans that I've owned that looked good with my tee shirt tucked in. (I have a smallish waist and huge hips, for what it's worth, so I'd love to hear how someone who's more of an apple shape finds them.)

Did You Know?
Paige Adams-Geller was the fit model for Seven For All Mankind, Citizens of Humanity, True Religion and Joe's Jeans before starting her own line.

Hi Robin, The reason the Sevens at Lane Bryant aren't as good is because they're not the same brand as 7 For All Mankind. They are a knockoff (in fact they were sued for using the name). The Paiges are made by Paige Premium Denim and are identical to her other line. But you know what? I just found a great pair of jeans at Ashley Stewart for 19.99 that fit me perfectly. It just goes to show you have to try every pair on.

I can't believe I am just reading this now. Boy how having kids can take the fashionista right out of you at times....LOL.... Seven does have a plus size line at Lane Bryant, but it's just not the same. I was so excited, but the quality level on the Lane Bryant Seven Jeans is way down. These sound great! I will be saving my pennies to get a pair, and boy will it be worth it!

Andrea, they're available exclusively online from Nordstrom.com. I don't know if there are plans to sell them at the stores too eventually but nordstrom.com's return policy is very fair.

Charlotte, they really are the BEST, most flattering jeans. Unfortunately my pair is missing (very long story but I think my husband accidentally packed them on a trip he took alone and then didn't know what they were and threw them away). I'm hoping to get a GC to Nordstrom for Christmas so I can buy another pair.

I actually never heard of them but, hey, I'm up for some new jeans.
