The sun beams bright and yellow.
But I'm so very unhappy
For I'm a troubled fellow.
It has barely rained for weeks
Our water is going fast.
At this rate our drinking water
Will soon no longer last.
Our crops are dying from drought
Our grass is brown and bare.
Our nerves are rawly tested
But does anyone really care?
If these are things to come
We better start sounding the alarm.
Before we destroy our environment
And create a lasting harm.
