1. Kevin Garnett - (20.8 pts, 13.3 reb, 4.3 ast, 1.3 blk) - KG has the Celtics rolling, and double-double average has been done in rather obscurity. The fact that he is scoring so efficiently this season is quite amazing and is probably a testament to him being forced to play on the block with Ray Allen and Paul Pierce holding it down on the perimeter. KG even has great upside as the season goes on, because he is likely to get more and more comfortable with his team and can be even more of a facilitator on the offensive end. 2. Lebron James - (29.6 pts, 7.7 reb, 7.9 ast, 1.7 stl) - Lebron James is having season for the ages. If he finishes the season averaging 30 points, 8 assists and 8 rebounds for the season that would pretty much be unprecedented. Lebron James fantasy owners are reaping the rewards of Lebron right now. He looks like he will only get better, because the Cleveland Cavaliers do not provide him with any adequate support from the starters or off the bench.
3. Chris Paul - (19.5 pts, 4.4 reb, 10.8 ast, 3.2 stl, 2.9 a/t) - Chris Paul has surpassed all as the best fantasy basketball point guard in the NBA. Whether or not he is actually the best point guard in the NBA is a question for another day. But his statistics make the argument for the former non-existent. He averages the 2nd most points among the point guards on this list, he is tops in assists, his assists to turnover ratio is higher than them all, and he also just about doubles everyone else in steals. Paul is the quintessential fantasy basketball point guard, and it won't be long before he is considered the top point guard in real life.
4. Kobe Bryant - (26.9 pts, 7.0 reb, 4.9 ast, 2.2 stl) - Kobe Bryant is still on top of the shooting guard world in fantasy basketball. Averaging the most points of the crew automatically puts him at the top, but he is right at the top of the shooting guard rankings in just about every category there is. Kobe also gets you get good numbers at the free throw line and he is shooting very well from the three-point line as well. Naturally, his defense is on point and he is getting 2.2 steals a game.
