Super Smash Brawl News/Updates
Check Out This Upcoming Wii Game! Let's Brawl!
The newest installment which is said to be released December 3rd 2007 is surely going to amp the series up into a realm of unsurpassed combat and characters. Here is what to expect:
NEW CHARACTERS:
Pit: A warrior/bowmen from an old game, Kid Icarus. He looks like he has a mean meld of close combat with his daggers and bow skills which devastate the opponent from afar. His ability to fly for a limited period will surely introduce new aspects of gameplay and strategy.
Pokemon Trainer: This was a great move. Pokeball battles in the previous game were exciting but now you get to control either Squirtle, Ivysaur and Charizard yourself. Each Pokemon will use disparate techniques and abilities.
Ike: This characters from the Fire Emblem series has taken over for Marth and Roy, it seems. His range of sword-related attacks will make him deadly in close combat. He also has a special move called Eruption which can be charged up.
Snake: The biggest shock in the first screenings of SS Brawl was the arrival of Solid Snake from the Metal Gear Solid series. In Brawl, he will use grenades, his trusty missile launcher named Nikita which is controlled after it has been deployed, stealth and other sneaky tactics to surprise and detonate the enemy.
Zero Suit Samus: When using Samus, you will lose the Power Suit after a certain technique and be equipped with the Zero Suit. Once this is activated you are given a completely new type of fighter with new abilities and figthing style. She wields a whip and skin-tight clothing.
Meta Knight: An evil rival of Kirby from the Kirby franchise. He wears a mean mask and a long cape and still manages to keep the same sort of form his nemesis. He is round, short but not to be trifled with by any means. His sword is fast and can slice enemies up into the air and create havoc from anywhere on the battlefield.
