Easy Stress Relief Technique
Easy to learn technique that will lower your blood pressure while out at the bank, grocery store, home improvement center, exam time or at your children's school. Plus teach it by example to your kids to help them handle stress better.

So your standing in line at the bank, grocery store, in your car, home improvement center, DMV office, you get the idea and then you see or hear something that you know will slow you down, like an employee taking a break, taking a phone call, or the one sound that gets to everyone especially during busy shopping periods, like holiday shopping and at the end of your workday shopping "Price Check"

A sigh leaves your mouth, and you start getting frustrated, you look down for the time on your watch or cell phone. You want to get out of this place to get going to something else, your blood pressure is rising. So what do you do to calm down so your body gets out of the fight or flight response...Breathe, now I know your breathing in and out all day and night long, but as you get stressed, your breathing becomes even more shallow and your body gets less oxygen.

So lets breath together in a way, which will allow you to distress your body and mind quickly.

1. As you inhale, making sure you expand your belly, not your upper chest, I want you to focus on the top of your head. If you have to at first, touch the top of your head.

2. Now as you exhale, pulling your belly in toward your spine focus on the bottom of your feet, touching them at first if you need to, feeling the energy and stress flowing down into the ground.

You don't have to close your eyes to focus on this. So lets try it again. Inhale with your minds focus on your head, making sure you expand your belly and exhale with your minds focus on the bottom of your feet as you pull your stomach toward your belly.

As you do this breath for 4-6 times, you will notice that your stress level is much lower as your controlling your response to the situation your in. You will make better choices in your response to this, be it verbal, physical or emotional.

So how do your children benefit:
