"George, Come over here and explain this to me?" Joe called to his neighbor from the garage."Sure, what's happening?" He came into the garage not expecting any trouble.
"Ha, Ha, I got you cold now, you sucker."
"Hey, what the heck?" George backed as he saw the gun in his friend's hand, His hand went up in front of him trying to fend off his neighbor. "For God sakes put that gun down Joe."
"No! I got you now; You're not going to get away, this time!"
"Chill out Joe, I've no idea what your talking about." His hands were in the air. "Please put that down and we'll talk about whatever it is bothering you. You might shoot someone!"
"That's my intent, or haven't you figured that out?"
"Woah! Figured out what? Why would you want to kill me? I'm your friend."
"For messing with my wife, as if you didn't know."
"That's ridiculous, Joe. I never laid a hand on Susan. Where did you get such an idea?" George turned the palms of his hands out, as if to open his arms to Joe. "You know I'd never do a thing like that."
"Oh yeah! Then how come I caught the two of you together on my home video camera?" Joe sneered. "I'm not as dumb as you might think I am."
"You're mistaken Joe. I didn't do it. We're friends, it's not me on that film. Just ask Susan, I'm sure she'll tell you it isn't me." He moved toward Joe, cautiously.
Joe took the gun in both hands and took a stanch. "Come ahead. Since I caught you in my garage, no one will ever suspect that I planned it this way and they will think I caught you stealing."
"Ask Susan!" He yelled in desperation. "Go ask her, It isn't me! She'll tell you." George is shaking badly, as he realizes he is in mortal danger. "Be reasonable Joe, You know it isn't me!"
Joe lifts the gun higher and takes aim at George's head.
Pow! Pow! George's body falls hard on the garage floor.
"Thank God you came. He really was going to kill me!"
Susan smiled, the smoking gun in her hand. "Well George, you're pretty special to me, but not in the way you think. I knew he was filming us. I also knew how he thinks, so I figured he'd try something like this. That is why I had to keep an eye on him."
"I'm sure glad." George extended his arms out to welcome her. "Come here baby. Let me hold you."
