It's been a chart topping week for singer-songwriter Alicia Keys. She debuted this week at the top of Billboard's Top 200 Albums chart for her new J Records release As I Am. The record boasted a 742,000 sales week, making it the second most successful first week seller this year. In recent music years, it's become the best sales week for a female artist since Norah Jones' 2004 release Feels Like Home which hit platinum status in its first week.

The record beat out the likes of the world's most successful female artist, Celine Dion, and legendary rockers Led Zeppelin who came in at number seven selling 135,000 copies.

Alicia not only took the top of the charts for the album this week. Her single, "No One," quickly jumped up from the No. 2 spot to No. 1 on Billboard's Hot 100. The song pushed over 200,000 copies sold. From the previous week, this is an 88 percent sales increase for the current.

The Hot 100 chart on Billboard is combined up of three factors. It's made up of 55 percent of airplay, 45 percent of digital downloads, and since August also includes 5 percent on-demand streaming. The change took affect this past August due to a growth in digital downloads, which counted for up to 70 percent of the Hot 100 formula.

Keys knocked down Chris Brown's "Kiss Kiss" to second place, which held the No. 1 position for three weeks. Newbie Flo Rida's "Low" continues to inch up the chart, landing in at No. 4 from No. 6. Just a week before, she shot straight up the chart from No. 64 to No. 6.

Fergie has something to be proud of. Her recent single "Clumsy" jumped to No. 8 from 12 which makes her the second female artist to take five songs from a debut album and launch them into the Top Ten. Paula Abdul was the first to do so in 1989.

Celine Dion may have missed out on No. 1 this week for her album Taking Chances, her first English pop album since 2003's One Heart, but she returns to the Hot 100 for her single "Taking Chances." She debuted at No. 54. Dion hasn't been seen on this particular chart since her rendition of "I Drove All Night" in 2003.
