In a recent press release, officials announced that a civilian contractor has been indicted by a federal grand jury for soliciting bribes while he was at Camp Arifjan in Kuwait.

Officials announced that the federal grand jury in the District of Columbia returned an indictment against the contractor, who is from Georgia, according to Assistant Attorney General Alice S. Fisher of the Criminal Division.

Terry Hall, 41, has been indicted with one count of bribery. Hall is from Rex, Georgia. He is alleged to have paid money and things of value to other U.S. military contractors who were also assigned to Camp Arifjan.

It has been alleged that he paid the other individual money in an attempt to be awarded contracts to perform additional work in Kuwait and to influence the outcome of any actions of the other individual.

Additionally, had an interest in several other companies. These companies include the Freedom Consulting and Catering Company, the U.S. Eagles Services Corporation, and Total Government Allegiance. Hall is accused of bribing the U.S. military in Kuwait for operations that these companies were involved in as well.

The allegations against Hall state that these companies were paid more than $20 million in military contracts for doing such things as providing bottled water to U.S. soldiers stationed in Kuwait.

The indictment filed against Hall alleges that he engaged in working with a U.S. Army Major who awarded contracts to the firms that Hall had an interest in. Hall's company allegedly made over $10 million on a blanket purchase agreement to supply bottled water in Kuwait. The water was destined for Camp Arifjan and these deals were allegedly struck between January 2005 through at least the fall of 2006.

Hall could be sentenced to up to 15 years in prison, be fined $350,000 and be on supervised release if he is convicted of the charges alleged in the indictment. The indictment is also asking for money or property that Hall has that was involved in the alleged offense.
