On Tuesday, self-publishing company AuthorHouse announced that author Anthony Kairouz has published his latest book, Nuclear Iran: A Prelude to WWIII.Kairouz, a Ph.D. in political science, professor emeritus in public administration, and an American citizen of Lebanese origin, attempts to do away with any misunderstandings and misconceptions surrounding Iran's regional and international objectives, and says that if they are not understood and deterred the world runs the risk of the imminent and catastrophic danger of "World War III".
Kairouz finds that Iran's nuclear program is not merely a benign one strictly for producing energy at all, but is being designed for that nation to lead the way in bringing about a world Islamic state run by Shi'ites adhering to Sharia law.
The Iranian regime in power now is certainly anti-Western and anti-Israel; however, critics point out that this is actually causing friction between the Iranian government and the majority of Iranians, who support democracy, equal rights for women, and a secular culture.
While many have dismissed the West-damning and Israel-cursing words of president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad as mere hot-headed rhetoric, especially since he is not the Supreme Commander of Iran (a religious cleric is), the evidence continues to mount that he means exactly what he says and believes in every word.
However, some strategists have noted that Iran knows that its strongest course of action is to speak thunderously rather than carry a big stick. Iran has long banked on the West underestimating its abilities and audacity, but at once Iran is not in a position to have any support for initiating any hostile or aggressive actions on the national level.
Nevertheless, some Iranian leaders have within the last couple of years stated that if they could obliterate Israel, they would do so even in the knowledge that they could receive highly destructive nuclear retaliation, a fact that worries more and more analysts.
