Just because your favorite relative is stuck in the '80s, it doesn't mean you can't find a gift for them. Consider one of these top movie soundtracks from the '80s.

Music Soundtracks Gifts for People Stuck in the 80s

I am nothing if not a child of 80s music. I think that the music you hear at certain times in your life, including when you are a teen will forever define who you are musically, and you will forever use that music a reference point. If you're looking for a gift for someone stuck in the 80s, read on.

That nostalgia is doubled when that music is associated with movies. For me that music and those movies happened during the '80s. You can say a lot about the excess of the '80s and the over-the-top music and fashions that went along with it. You can even argue that much of the music from the '80s, including from movie soundtracks sounds terribly dated.

While these songs may sound dated to some of you, anyone stuck in the '80s, at least musically, will understand the appeal of these movie soundtrack gift ideas.

#1 Music Soundtrack Gift Idea for People Stuck in the 80s:
Stop Making Sense (Movie 1984, soundtrack 1990)

Technically this soundtrack wasn't released until 1990, but the music is from the movie which came out in 1984. I can't dismiss this album on that technicality, or relegate it to the '90s list. This music is poor '80s, from Psycho Killer to Burning Down the House.

Not only is this the best soundtrack from an '80s movie, it is also one of the soundtracks that does stand the test of time. When was the last time you turned your radio dial away from one of these songs?

Your favorite person stuck in the '80s will love this soundtrack gift idea.
