The Cranberry Fool is literally out there to fool anyone who is going to have a taste of this mouth watering. I really wonder whether I should call it a sauce or condiment or taste enhancer. It is no doubt a connoisseur's delight and it largely depends on the creativity of the cook. As it is it does not require any culinary skills because it tastes good straight out of jar and can be had just like that. Let your imagination go wild and toss it on every possible item to make the recipe exotic. There is no way you get bored or sick of the taste because it adds to the taste of the dish and with every recipe it takes a new form.

I saw it long back in a TV commercial and since then wanted to try it and see what it tasted like. I expected it to be something sweet and sour and it is exactly that way with perfect blend of sweet and tart taste. Neither sweet nor sour tangy taste is dominant and hence it goes well with any of the dish. I find it more interesting to cool the spicy and hot non vegetarian dish with the Cranberry Fool. It gives a peculiar inimitable taste and no amount of any other sauce can give this range of special savor.

I buy them in bulk and store it because I never know when I run out of them because this is liberally added to anything my eyes fall on. My friends visit me often to taste newly found Cranberry recipes and they call me Cranberry Queen. A jar of 11 ounce comes at $10 and it is really worth every penny. This is nourishing and healthy syrup because it is 100% natural with no artificial or synthetic agents added to it. All the fruits are natural and there is no trace of any fruit essence.

Instead of binging on unhealthy syrupy sauce oozing with sugar and high calorie stuff, it is better to go with Cranberry Fool because there is no extra sugar added to it. It gets it sweetness and tart taste from the fruits that go in to the making and no artificial sweeteners are also added. Though the label states that this contains cranberries, raisins, currants and cherries, I could not really make out the fruits as such because they were fully soaked and softened in the syrup. However I have a strange feeling that more of raisins and cherries are added..
