Shopping for your sweetheart? Well, consider leaving these things back at the mall. Or even if you purchase them, make sure you get a receipt. A lover of Christmas and a retail salesperson for about three years off and on, I am a little knowledgeable about what females want to receive for Christmas. But here is a list of the top three Christmas gifts females either just don't want or would at least like to receive with a gift receipt so they can thankfully return it.

Body wash, bubble bath, and scented lotions

Many people think that bubble bath, body splashes, or body washes are the perfect Christmas gifts for females. That's only slightly true. Many females do like body washes and sprays. However, a lot of females are allergic to certain scents. Many females are also picky about what scent they prefer, and often ladies will be thinking, "This smells...ok. It was a Christmas gift so I guess I have to use it. Another problem with this gift is that it doesn't last very long. Before January is up, the body lotion is on its way out.

Hoop Earrings

There is a misconception that all women like to receive earrings as Christmas gifts. That is just not true. A lot of women don't even wear jewelry unless their husband gives it to them. And hoops? Some women are just not hoop people. Personally, I consider myself a stud person. So before you purchase hoop earrings as a Christmas gift for someone, examine what they wear normally. Does it look like they like diamonds? Do you ever see the person wearing fake gold? You have to be very careful with hoop earrings. And the bottom line is some women wear hoop earrings because they are often cheaper and easier to pull off than studs. So if you want to get a female a real Christmas gift, you may want to consider buying her something better than what she usually can afford.

Christmas is the time of ultimate greed and lust for monetary gain successfully marketed to the public by advertising ploys to net a huge profit mostly by relying on the quilt factor to the Christian based populace where one must provide a gift for the family, friends, mail man, hairdresser, the list goes on ad nauseam. Why not just say, "The Hell With It" and celebrate freedom from the rediculousness of it all.

Thanks for the mention of the perfumed stuff. I am very sensitive to perfume and I can't use that stuff, yet people keep giving to me even when I tell them I'm allergic to perfumes. So, a lot of it gets regifted or just sits around my house.
