Ron Paul is raising some eyebrows these days. Dr. Paul's supporters are raising a lot of money. Ron Paul is also seeing growing poll numbers in Iowa and New Hampshire. What is behind this increase in momentum?

A look at Ron Paul's message may hold the answer. Ron Paul is a constitutionalist. He reads the constitution and follows it. He believes in limited constitutional government, low taxes, free markets and sound monetary policies.

Oddly enough, Ron Paul is ridiculed by his critics on these constitutional stances. One such stance is the war in Iraq and the way we use U.S. troops around the world. Ron Paul is not against the military or fighting a war. He just wants to do it according to the way the constitution says we should do it.

Ron Paul never wavers on his campaign speeches. The things he says and believes in today are the same things he believed in 5 years ago. No flip-flopping and no avoiding the answers to hard questions put to him. This may all point to why Ron Paul is finding himself gaining in money and momentum.

The media and even the GOP have not taken Ron Paul seriously up to now. In fact, many could say that they have disrespected Dr. Paul. But the hard working person is starting to listen to Ron Paul. And the young people of the U.S. seem to like what they hear at his campaign stops.

How many votes are actually out here for Ron Paul? The polls show him averaging about 5-6% in Iowa and New Hampshire. Why do some people think he is a threat?

Ron Paul has the ability to draw both democrats and republicans into his following. Voters from both parties are feeling fatigued by both parties and how they have conducted themselves the last 14 or so years. Many feel that a vote for the leaders in either party will amount to the same thing they have had.

Voters may be looking for a change for America. Getting back to the constitution may be THE resounding message in a time when many are trying to revise the constitution. There are at least 20% of republican voters that still haven't picked a candidate. There are surely as many democrats that are undecided. Will these disenchanted voters find their way to Ron Paul?

I love Ron Paul!!!!!!!!!! The media is threatened by them because he tells the governments little dirty secrets. ie: dangers of vaccines, politician printing money in the marble place, there shouldn't be secrets in the government but there are, etc... Wake up America please!!!!

Great article. Ron Paul doesnt stand a chance. Even if he won the nomination, he couldnt win the general election. His ideas are too far out there for most Americans to stomach. Maybe he can run for governor somewhere.

Ron Paul is gaining in popularity daily, remember Bill Clinton did not win Iowa or New Hampshire.

It was almost a three way tie for third place in Iowa with #3 Thompson 13%, #4 McCain 13%, #5 Ron Paul 10%. I for one was surprised.
