The Cordless Swivel Sweeper box says: As Seen On TV. Not by me; but I am familiar with those products that have made an enterprising person or company big profits by selling via television advertisements. The "As Seen On TV" logo was not what caught my eye, when I spotted the box displayed on an end-cap at the local Rite Aid store. Passing the store, I decided to check availability and price of DustbustersTM. The Cordless Swivel Sweeper box is about two and a half inches wide, much smaller than a DustbusterTM box. It also has a little plastic handle. The words, "Lightweight - 2 lbs", is why I stopped to read about the sweeper.

Before I noticed "As Seen On TV", I noticed the three pictures, labeled Wood, Tile and Carpet. The Carpet photo impressed me; she is using the sweeper on stairs. I do not have stairs, but I remember the frustration of vacuuming stairs. I also do not have pets, but I had to smile at the Tile photo which reminded me of my children's pet bowl spilled food. Other advertising on the Sweeper box says:

. Rechargeable
. Powerful 7.2 Volts
. Picks up everything, from dust to the big stuff!
. Swivels 360 degrees for easy maneuverability!
. Floor Sliders: Sweeper effortlessly glides on floor surfaces.
. Edge Cleaning Brushes: Gets the mess along walls and in the corners.
. Quad-Brush Technology: Picks up from all four sides at the same time for faster, easier cleaning.

Great product, but BE WARY OF THE BATTERY! It will give out much much sooner than expected. This is an incredible product, I just wish someone had foreseen the flaw with the battery.

Got the product and was very impressed. Don't be fooled, it's written on the box, electric wireless broom, not vacuum. It replaces the need to bend down to take the dirt and throw it in trash after putting half of the dirt on the sides. It's true that it's does a lot of sound. You can seen the battery in the battery block are AA, just cut and change to give a new life. You can see on this website a full review about it. www.tvproductsreviews.com

I too purchased a swivel sweeper from tv and got a second one free . Great Iput one in the dining room and one in the play room . Myself and my wife both loved this sweeper to DEATH literally in a couple of months the one in the dining room crapped out, followed a week later by the sweeper in the playroom . Now we have 2 sweepers leaning against walls and can't find anyone to talk to in getting new batteries or whatever is needed to get this great little sweeper back on track again.

Do not buy this product. Battery wears out quickly.

Be careful! It scratches hardwood floors. I've noticed scratches about 12" out from my walls (exactly where I run the sweeper). In the sunlight I can see it scratching the floor as I use it. I've called customer service and they said no one has ever complained of it scratching hardwood floors. I doubt that. I have since put felt pads on the 'sliders' and that helps but they fall off and I'm constantly replacing them. It's just not working for me.

The battery wore out in about 3 months. Costs too much to replace them. Would not recommend this product. It appears that they make most of their money on replacement parts.

Good review but I do not plan on having to buy one of these anytime soon. Thanks for sharing!

I went through two of these -- they're great. The only problem is that the plastic joining the head and the pole is not as strong as it should be, so pressure should not be put on the sweeper there.

We might buy one. That's one of the few "TV products" that had looked as if it may actually work. Some of them are so bogus! Beware of Kevin Trudeau, the guy who sells the natural cures ads; he is a total crook. One time he did an infomercial and said he took one golf lesson for $49.95 and he suddenly could golf like a pro. He's the all-time mail prostitute of informercials. Some are so bogus they are funny, but I'm gonna try the swivel; too much dust here in my cubbyhole. -- Mike
