Has Epinions.com Added Porn to Their Review Database?!

I used to be a very active of the epinions review site. However I wasn't getting paid much, and keeping up with their high expectations just got to me, and in the long run actually began effecting my writing style. I got sick of the cookie cutter reviews and headed out for newer things when it came to sharing my reviews, and getting paid for my thoughts and opinion.

Back when I was active on the site they made a huge deal out of cuss words in reviews. However some members found that cuss words in music reviews were acceptable...and none of the music cussing reviews would face any penalty. If you cussed in a review not in the music section, you'd get a big fat red ticket, and possibly an account suspension and what not.

I didn't get it...but thats how things were, and that's how things probably still are.

Anyhow, many members would make a big deal out of the whole 'family oriented' site. They didn't want cussing, or any of that naughty stuff because most members have kids. God forbid little Junior sign in and see the F word or S word in print in a review. Heck, some members even blew a gasket when Victoria Secret banners were popping up all over the site. They didn't want kids seeing half naked chicks on banners while mommy wrote a review on nail polish.

But what happened this past month?

I mean what the hell happened to epinions wholesome family oriented ways?

I signed in today and came across a slew of not so family friendly content. I'm not talking about reviews splattered with the F bomb or anything like that.

I'm talking about naughty products in the database. Some of these naughty 'adult only' products had reviews written....God forbid a dildo makes the front page on the site do to MH rates. Haha! Sick! What will new members looking to sign up think.

I'll tell yah, they're going to think they landed into some porn site by accident.

Sorry but if epinions is going to add sex toys into their database they should at least have a restricted area for this. I'd rather have little Junior read a review with a cuss word in it, than to have him pull up reviews on anal beads, sex tables with penis attachments, dildo's, and beads that are inserted into dark stars.
